Founder of Doctors without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontiers) did not oppose Iraq War (in other words did not oppose genocide)

"One of the most prominent roles went to a member of the Socialist Party. Bernard Kouchner, who is best-known for starting the humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders, or Medecins Sans Frontieres, is the new minister of foreign affairs. Like Mr. Sarkozy, he has taken a pro-American stance and was one of the few French politicians who did not oppose the war in Iraq."Source http://www.voanews.com/english/2007-05-18-voa12.cfm

I had repeated this information on my other blog (Click here to see it) and someone named mathias made the following comment

"Please note that Kouchner was kicked out of MSF / Doctors Without Borders in 1979 and has since then not had a role in the organisation (despite the fact that he uses it a lot ion the marketing of himself).

Indeed, MSF does not take stance against wars, it deals with the result of wars - human suffering. But MSF would not - like Kouchner - advocate for war as a “humnitarian solutions”, in Iraq or elsewhere."
